Rachael Sage & The Sequins at Folk Alliance 2012

In February 2012, Rachael Sage and her band The Sequins (Ward Williams, cello and Jagoda, percussion) headed down to Memphis for the annual Folk Alliance International Conference. Much musical mishugas ensued.

For the 4 nights of the conference, the 3 top floors of the Memphis Marriott were taken over by private showcases where literally hundreds of artists and bands performed 98% unplugged until the wee hours. This included the MPress Room, which was home to the late-night "Vampire Sessions" where anything could -- and did -- happen!
